Lorne Calvert and the rest of his leftist cronies have stepped on their collective dinks in a big way with their ill advised Same Old Sask Party attack campaign and web site. I've read through their propaganda, and I can only shake my head. Hell, the writ hasn't been dropped yet, and already we have so called 'honorable' politicians engaged in dishonorable behavior.
The NDP say we'll pay more for an alleged Sask Party hidden agenda. I say we've paid enough under the current benevolent dictators. We've paid with lost opportunities, severe out-migration of our irreplaceable youth, a pissed off Prime Minister who is only further agitated by a whining Premier Calvert, and a complete disregard for free enterprise. The more I hear the NDP powers that be, the more I think....
The socialist machine is simply engaged in tokenism, appealing to a slim minority, marginalizing the rest of us, reducing this great province to the lowest common denominator. On one hand they profess superior moral standards, yet on the other they engage in preferential, partisan, and discriminatory practices. No longer do they conduct their patronage behind closed doors, they now openly enact their illegal schemes in plain sight. They speak of wonderful plans and ideas which on the surface are pleasing to just enough of the populace to remain in power, but in the end their plans turn out to be....
Please pardon me oh great and wise, all seeing and all benevolent Premier Lorne Calvert, for we do not have need of your interference in our life, our morals, or our business affairs. All your meddling to 'bring about a better life' in all Saskatchewanians lives is just one big pain in our collective asses. Your meddling has accomplished little except to piss off those of us who remain here, and has driven many away to seek freedom and true opportunity elsewhere. My fondest hope is that the multitudes of voters who share my view mark their ballots against your party and your parties' ideals, and you hear our cry that....
We, the people, crave our freedom. We DO NOT need coddling from cradle to grave. We wish to explore our potential, and in doing so, we accept that sometimes we may fail. We do not seek security for having all things done for us leads to complacency and laziness. We understand that sometimes taking risks leads to great, small, or sometimes even NO reward. That's fine, we can live with uncertainty. We, unlike you, understand completely that...
The people of Saskatchewan are not sheep. You may like to think that you can pull the wool over the voter's eyes with your smear campaign, but I think you'll find we are smarter than that.
The Saskatchewan Party are not wolves with an agenda. The NDP's persistence in living in the past only goes further to prove how out of touch you and your party really are with respect to the people of Saskatchewan and what their true wishes are today. The people of this great province know...
Lorne Calvert and the rest of the NDP, I suspect that in the next election (should you have the testicular fortitude to call it) will discover that...
The Conservative Party and the New Democratic Party decided to have a canoe race on the South Saskatchewan River.
Both teams practiced long and hard to reach their peak performance before the race. On the big day, the Conservative Party won by a mile.
The New Democratic Party, very discouraged and depressed, decided to investigate the reason for the crushing defeat.
A management team made up of senior management was formed to investigate and recommend appropriate action.
Their conclusion was the Conservative Party had eight people rowing and one person steering, while the New Democratic Party had eight people steering and one person rowing.
Feeling a deeper study was in order, the New Democratic Party management hired a consulting company and paid them an amount of money for a second opinion.
They advised, of course, that too many people were steering the boat, while not enough were rowing.
Not sure how to utilize that information, but wanting to prevent another loss to the Conservative Party, the rowing team's management structure was reorganized to four steering supervisors, three area steering superintendents and one assistant superintendent steering manager. They also implemented a new performance system that would give the one person rowing the boat a greater incentive to work harder. It was called the "Rowing Team Quality First Program," with meetings, dinners, and free pens for the rower.
There was discussion of getting new paddles, canoes, and other equipment, extra vacation days for practice and bonuses.
The next year the Conservative Party won by two miles.
Humiliated, the New Democratic Party management paid off the rower, topped up his pension plan contributions, and put him into early retirement with full pension, halted development of a new canoe, sold the paddles for pennies on the dollar, and quadrupled all capital investments for new equipment. Additional resources were diverted to administration via order in council and redistributed to municipalities as 'seed money' and the next year's racing team was tendered via in-house patronage appointment.
